Consumer Information Notice

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Pesticide Control Program requires us to provide customers with information about the materials that we will be using as part of the pest control program for your property. We are using this Consumer Information Notice to provide you with this information.

We will apply the pesticides listed below to your property as part of your pest management program.  If we provide you advance notice of possible pesticides to be used, we will subsequently leave written notice of the specific pesticide used on the application date.  The exact dates of application shall be made available to you if you request it.   Additionally, you may request a copy of the label for each pesticide that we will use.  In certain cases, we will provide you label precautions relating to resident or general public safety to follow prior to and/or following application of individual pesticides.  

FOR-SHORE WEED CONTROL, INC. uses a variety of weed and pest control products depending on the type of pest present or anticipated and the area being treated.  We apply the lowest rates possible to accomplish effective weed and pest control. 

With all pesticide applications, reasonable precautions should be observed.  Keep off treated areas until spray has dried.  Don't allow vegetation that has been treated to be eaten.  Do not put soil or stones in mouth after treatment.  Please do not follow applicator around to "help" during treatment.

At the time of any application, a small disposable "posting sign" will be put on your property to indicate the area has been treated.  This sign may be removed 72 hours after the application (time and date are on the invoice).  FOR-SHORE WEED CONTROL, INC. will not be responsible for the removal of the posting sign, however we will remove old signs when we see them.  Please see that these signs are disposed of properly. We will reuse the stake portion of the sign if it is left out.

A copy of the label(s) for the pesticide(s) used shall be available to the customer, if requested. The exact dates of application shall be made available to the customer, if requested.
